My Bio
Hello! This is my DArt profile. I dig pretty much all forms of art. Lately I have been into photo-manipuation and Fractal Art....especially fractal art. I just got Ultra Fractal 5 and have been trying to figure it out.
About me:
I am currently a Senior at Portland State University seeking duel Bachelors in Music Education and Music Performance with a minor in Philosophy. I am looking for institutions for my master's. I hope to study Orchestral/Operatic Conducting (you know...the guy at the symphony that waves a stick around). I also compose and arrange music. I also compose electronic music (in most forms..."classical" electronic, electronica, dance, house, trance, ambient.). I also have started working on electronic art music installations and interactive music systems.
I like to make pretty pictures for fun. I know that the odds of making a living doing this are slim, but I find it fun and helpful in my music.

So...I basically died. Not really, but in terms of the internet, I did die. My computer died. So I could only get on and do things when I found a computer at school or when my girl-friend (not girlfriend...big difference) let me touch her "precious" laptop (not often...). But...Now I have a pretty new laptop and can now get back to my projects. wOOt for me! :) I have a lot of stuff to upload...But I have to retrieve them from my old (and dead) macbook.

SO, here I am logging onto my favorite site dA and what do I see? Someone viewed my page for the thousandth time.
YAY!!!!!!
I am SO happy right now. I never thought I would hit that mark. I am sure some are thinking "*pphhfffttt!!!*...I hit that a week into my signing up. What so special about a thousand" Well...to me it is special. I didn't set any goals to achieve this. I just want people to see my work. If it moves them in any way, I am happy. But...for a thousand people to say I liked your stuff enough to view your page...well...I am simply over the moon right now.

...ok, so I was in bed...
...please understand this...
I have problems with sleep. This is because of a somewhat awful case of insomnia...which I hear creative types have. So now back on topic...
I was in bed and just got a phone call from a guy in Cologne, Germany asking me to write and his small dance troupe a ~20-30min interactive dance/electroacoustic piece...for money!
...yay?...
As much as I would love to jump around and celebrate a possible awesome gig, I would much rather get some sleep. :(
Anyway, here is how it works. I will compose some basic elements then start designing a music synthesis engine using a groovy music synt
